School antics/achievements: House Captain, Thamboosamy; President of the Historical Society; Secretary of the VI Football Association; PKBM Infantry (Gempur Wira!); school hockey team.

Further education: UKM, Bachelors in Business Administration (International Trade); De La Salle University, Masters in Arts (Philosophy – Political Ethics).

Work:
First job was as a Shangri La waiter — “I always tried to avoid being on duty for the Chinese 9 course dinners! For me, it was only 9 times potential disasters!”. 
Then a career in education, HR training & consultancy.

Current events

Career: Sub-editor at The Malaysian Insider.

Outsider career activities: Life member of the Austral-Asian Intervarsity Debating Association; PKR Hulu Langat.
 
Future Plans

Looking forward to meeting more VI alumni in any capacity: “there should not be any awkwardness when you meet people from the old school. I always look forward to calls from anyone from batches before and after me. Let’s keep school spirit going!!”
