‘ The Big Durian’.

 

One of Malaysia’s leading columnist, writer, film director and publisher spent many of his formative years between the hallowed walls of the Victoria Institution in the 1980s. And the Big Durian is about that very period of his secondary school years, so for those who know him, and those who are yet to know him, come over the VIOBA to attend what will most definitely be a very special evening.

Amir will share after the screening his thoughts and opinions on his film after screening. Critically acclaimed in Malaysia and in international film festivals, Amir is seen as a revolutionary movie maker in Malaysian cinema.
